I am a lawyer of the People, thus “The People’s Lawyer.” I do not represent Banks, Insurance Companies, or Corporations. I endeavor to deliver the highest quality of legal service possible to individuals injured by someone or something, or persons charged with criminal law violations in state or federal court. In personal injury claims, I have pursued hundreds if not thousands of claims against negligent drivers, nursing homes, hospitals and doctors, drug manufacturers, insurance companies, car manufacturers, railroads, and many other types of negligent persons and companies. I have networks of doctors and medical care providers that can perform medical care at no initial cost to you. These expenses are then typically paid out of the proceeds of the settlement in a given case. In my criminal practice, I represent persons in state and federal court, and have tried everything from a DWI case to a Murder case. I have tried federal cases where the trial has lasted a month or longer in open court.

On a personal note, I have practiced most of my years in Sherman, Texas, in Grayson County. I do accept cases in surrounding Texas and Oklahoma counties. In my early years, I held a position as an assistant county prosecutor in Sherman, Texas. I attended Brown University (having the experience of attending during some of the same years as John F. Kennedy, Jr.) and interned at that time with the Rhode Island Supreme Court, the Rhode Island State Senate, and while at law school interned with the United States Bankruptcy Court. In the past decade or more of my practice, I have enjoyed private practice in North Texas, and live and work here near my family.
